The Henderson House Community Garden continues to improve, thanks to the ongoing leadership of Jim Dockstader. The vision we all share is for this to become the regular gathering place for the community in the immediate neighborhood and beyond. We invite you to be part of this experience by meeting up with us on Saturday mornings at 9:00 for maintaining the garden and new friendships. One exception is that this Sunday, March 27 at 10:30, we’ll be prepping the beds for a big work party on Saturday, April 2 at 9:00 to plant the summer crops and create a community art project! A little help on Sunday would be much appreciated, but April 2nd will be fun to have lots of participation.
Directions: Take Cam. de los Mares just past hospital and fire station – Go Rt at Calle Campana, then another quick right on Calle Canasta. Keep to the right and look for the garden just below the fire station wall in the alley.
