Anti Nuke Benefit Concert – Join the Caravan! August 6,7,8

The Caravan is a bust – only because everyone seems to have a different plan. All I can say is get your butt up there any way you can! Decorate your vehicles so we might recognize you on the road.

The Caravan is a bust – only because everyone seems to have a different plan. All I can say is get your butt up there any way you can! Decorate your vehicles so we might recognize you on the road. This may mark an epic moment in history, the turning point when civilization actually changed to truly clean, sustainable, safe sources of energy. The time has come! Be there, or at the very least watch it live and help support the cause. Check this out and spread the word. http://www.jacksonbrowne.com/news/2011/07/22/watch-m-u-s-e-concert-live-online-august-7th

Here is another plan someone researched for us…
There is camping about a half hour’s drive from the concert venue, and a hostel about 15 miles from the concert. We can check in 24 hours a day at the hostel. If we have transport i would recommend the campground. It would be fun. If we are taking the train up and we don’t have transport i would recommend the hostel as it is accessible by public transit once we are in the city. I would recommend us not parking at the amphitheatre. I have been to one and only one concert and it happened to be at Shoreline and it is a madhouse getting out of there. I’d recommend us parking at the San Antonio shopping center 2 miles away or the hostel and catching a bus, otherwise it will take us 2 hours to get out of the parking lot because there’s only one entrance and exit (sound familiar??)

MUSE – Come along with us to enjoy a fantastic benefit concert for nuclear protest groups like ours and for victims of Fukushima. Transportation and accommodation alternatives are being explored for traveling to Mountain View on Saturday, August 6th. We’ll be joining forces with opponents of the Diablo Canyon site in San Luis Obispo for the final leg of the trip. We’d be returning Monday, August 8. We are getting tickets for the lawn area, but order whatever tickets you want, (http://www.livenation.com/event/1C0046D47CA349B9?artistid=734842&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1). Just getting there and back will be half the fun, but the concert itself will be something to remember. Please reply to gary@sanclementegreen.org if you are even slightly interested in going so we can keep you posted.
