Our City Council has requested SONGS, SCE and NRC to make a public presentation on Tuesday, September 27th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Without our involvement, we are concerned that this will just be another public relations opportunity for the nuclear industry rather than actually being informative.
Therefore, Tuesday evening, 7/19 from 6:00 to 7:00pm, we will be using “Oral Communications, Part 1”, to request that we are allowed to take part in the planning of the “Lessons Learned from Fukushima” hearing. Unfortunately we have to ask you to attend because that seems to be the only way they will listen. If you wish to speak, just fill out a blue card and take it to the front desk. We’d love to get some new faces to speak to the issue, but no pressure. Just having you there will be a significant contribution to our cause.
